Keys that never go online
Your Trezor signs every transaction on its own screen, so private keys never touch the internet. Plug it in by USB, confirm on the device, and you stay in control.
Trezor Suite handles balances, sending, receiving, labels and coin management. It is available for Windows, macOS, Linux and web, and supports 1,000+ coins and tokens including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana.
Firmware is 100% open-source and independently audited, so anyone can verify what runs on the device. 🔐

Why self-custody wins
Exchange
Software wallet
Trezor
Key custody
A company holds your keys, so withdrawals can freeze and accounts can be locked by KYC.
Keys sit on a phone or laptop that you manage, with no company in between.
You alone hold the keys, generated and stored offline on the device.
Online exposure
Account hacks and breaches put every coin on the platform at risk.
An internet-connected device invites malware and clipboard address swaps.
Keys never touch a connected computer, so malware has nothing to steal.
Recovery
Depends on support tickets and the company staying in business.
Depends on a backup that may be stored on the same device.
The recovery seed is generated offline on the device and works in any compatible wallet.
Verification
You trust a dashboard and an email confirmation.
You trust what the app shows on screen.
Every transaction is confirmed on the device screen. Firmware is 100% open-source and independently audited.

Questions People Ask
What is a recovery seed and where should I keep it?
Your recovery seed is generated offline on the device. Write it on paper, never type it into a website or photograph it, and store it in two separate places. Anyone holding it can reach your coins.
What if I lose or break my device?
Buy any Trezor and restore from your seed. Your coins live on the blockchain, not in the box, so a lost or broken device never means lost funds as long as the seed is safe.
Do I have to update firmware?
Yes. Signed updates install through Trezor Suite, and the firmware is 100% open-source and independently audited. Your seed stays untouched during every update, so your coins are never at risk.
Does Trezor charge fees?
Trezor charges no fees of its own. You pay only the network’s mining fee, which you choose and set yourself in Suite before each transaction is sent.
Which computers and coins work?
Trezor Suite is available for Windows, macOS, Linux and web. It supports 1,000+ coins and tokens including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana, plus third-party wallets like MetaMask.
How do I know I am on the official start page?
Only ever type the address yourself and check the HTTPS padlock. Never trust a seed request from any website or support chat, because no genuine page will ever ask for your seed.
